Les, thanks again for a great Hunt,
Alaska Bush Adventures provided my son Regan and I with a very successful and unique Moose Hunt. On the first day of our hunt near dusk, we stopped by some freshly raked willow brush. Les started raking and calling and all of a sudden we heard some “cow calls”. Les’s eyes told me this was it! Huffing and puffing I focused about 150 yards across the river O.M.G., not one but 4 Moose, a large Bull with a Cow, a Juvenile bull and a calf. I popped off my scopes cover, stood and fired my .340 Weatherby Magnum Whap! I hit the bull in the midsection. He just still stood there frozen, stunned but not dropping. The bullet went clear through the huge Bull. Les said “hit him again”! This time it broke his back, he crumpled and fell into the river. Luckily his huge antlers got caught on the river bed and stopped him from floating further down river. What a thrill for me and my son Regan. We boated across the river, got a lots of photos, and tied the big guy off just before nightfall and headed back up river to camp.

You and Heath really worked hard for me. I took a nice 55.5in bull on the 3th day. Our hunt with Rick from Fla. and Rob and Bob from Ohio was a great trip. Rob and Bob father and son team had a shot the last day. The HoHo basecamp we hunted out of was well set up and stocked to the roof with food and supplies. Tell Bo and Mike I said hello. I know they worked just as hard for their hunter. Hope I get back soon to get a bear. If y'all every get a chance to come to Mississippi we can hunt some whitetail and ducks. This is truly one amazing place and one hell of a adventure, I've harvested two amazing trophy class bulls with Alaska Bush Adventures, and going back this year for a 3rd hunt, I've hunted many places and this will definitely be the best there is. I would highly recommend ABA to anyone looking for an outfitter to provide them with all the necessary gear as well as a great hunting area. It was a great experience and I look forward to using them again.
Looking back though, ABA came through and did absolutely everything they said they would. They did not sugar-coat the realities of spending two weeks alone in the bush, and they made sure we had all the equipment and food we would need. Mark A

My friend and I did a unguided fully outfitted moose float trip the 2014 season through Alaska Bush Adventures.
They were both very willing, able, and helpful in answering our many questions about gear, weather, hunting, etc. The flight to the drop off spot was really amazing flying over the mountains. The gear met all expectations and the tents were awesome. The fishing was really good, the char and grayling were delicious and easy to catch. Seven days into the float I got a beautiful 52 inch bull with nice wide palms. Overall, the hunt is exactly what we were looking for. A practical way to hunt moose unguided, where success is dependent on the effort we put forth. We got to focus on the hunting and know that Alaska Bush Adventures has the gear and logistics covered.

I want to start by thanking Alaska Bush Adventures for a GREAT Alaskan adventure. I selected Alaska Bush Adventures after exploring other options and talking with Les on the phone several times. It was obvious that Les was excited to talk about hunting Moose. My decision was also base on the fact that Les said the area we would be hunting was off the beaten path and very remote. I also wanted an outfitter who offered me the kind of experience that I would remember and talk about with the same passion Les had shared when I visited with him prior to booking with Alaska Bush Adventures. After arriving in camp and meeting the camp help, who was also a handy man that could fix or repair anything it finally sank in. I discovered we were truly in an area that few people had ever seen. I took a big, mature bull moose and the rack measured 60 inches. Looking back this was truly an adventure of a lifetime. I had a GREAT time hunting with Alaska Bush Adventures. I achieved my goal of going to and seeing the remote country of Alaska. Getting a Moose was an added bonus to this trip. I truly enjoyed my time spent in Moose camp. I’d recommend Alaska Bush Adventures to anyone.
